More Marcus

I don't want to forget things, and I don't even know where my journal is. So:

Marcus has started spinning. And dancing with his arms flailing about.
Says "more" even when you have the next bite on the spoon already waiting for him.
Says "Love you" and it might be the cutest thing ever.
Says "welcome" and "thank you"
Blows bubbles in the bathtub. Actually, I'm not sure where he learned this, but it sure is cute.
Really likes "pretties" headbands, bracelets, hats, sunglasses. What kind of dress ups do you get for boys? He would LOVE them.

Lauren has started "ba ba ba"ing all the time. She is still the sweetest little creature, but will let you know if she thinks she needs more attention. Still my little peanut wearing her 0-3 month clothes. She won't roll over (not can't, won't) but is starting to sit like a pro. And if sticking your entire fist in your mouth was an Olympic sport, she'd win gold. No contest.

The "I love you" video per request!

picture-less update

You'd think that I could find the time to update this thing. It's not that I don't have time. It's more like, I enjoy playing stupid games on facebook. Particularly Bejewelled Blitz! It's an evil game, sucking you in with the "it's only a minute. I have a minute" mentality. Then 30 games later, you still think "it's only a minute." Lame on my part. Totally lame-o.

Newest things in our household:

Marcus randomly folds his arms for an instant then says "meh." You'd better prepare for several "mehs" during your prayer unless it is under 7 seconds long. Lets just say conference prayers were a little trying for our man.

Lauren is close to rolling over, but gets her arm stuck underneath her. Sometimes this is good, like when I want her to sleep. She'll wiggle for a little while, get tired and sleep for a good 30 minutes or more. Me likey.

I have discovered that during the my two pregnancies that my feet have indeed grown a little. And, my mom was out of the country when this was discovered. Sometimes one needs their mom to say "aw. That sucks." I know it isn't really a trial at all, but dang it! When one cannot wear their favorite brand of shoes anymore because said brand does not make larger than size 11, one deserves a small speck of sympathy for stupid grievances. I am still accepting small specks of sympathy for wearing the occasional (WHY can't I spell that word?) 11.5 shoe. It does suck man.

Lauren is *almost* out of all of her newborn sized clothing. At almost 7 months. She seems so big to me, until I see 2 month olds bigger than her. Someone want to explain the genetics that keep my little one so little when her parents are enormous? I don't get it.

Marcus has an obession with keys. Real keys that drive real cars, or so I thought. I just recently found out that baby key rings with plastic keys suffice. Wish I would have known that before he lost 2 sets of actual keys.

Um. Will doesn't like me anymore. I have taken away his one night of playing ball for my one night of singing. I know. Totally rude of me. At least he gets football on Saturdays until Thanksgiving anyway. AND, starting next week he'll get to go again until the middle of January. He gets the same amount of "aw, that sucks" as my feet growing does.

And that. Is an update.

Mooface

Some adorable pics of my baby boy. Warning to those of the squeemish variety: there *might* be some baby boy bum.

Not the boy, but I couldn't resist. This is what is distracting me from posting more pics tonight.

Typical. Just typical. The blurriness might be out of sheer exhaustion.

Someone kinda likes bananas.

And of course, we have to include Aunt Ann.
