Lauren Nichole was born on 3.12.2010 at 6:48 am. My water broke the previous night (my birthday!) and she was born about 9 hours later after about half of a push. She was 3 lbs 15 oz and 17.25 inches long. See.
Seriously. Look at how long that leg looks!
so, Sunday afternoon (although we were all cleared to leave by 10 am!) we took this little peanut home. She weighed in at 3 lbs 14.4 oz. We were told that she was the smallest baby to leave the hospital that hadn't been in the NICU. It is hard to imagine a smaller baby not needing the NICU, so I am pretty sure she'll keep that record for a while.
Her first and definitely not last picture with her brother. Yes. Marcus looks like a giant...but he's still just an average sized 14 month old in this picture. Yes. She looks tiny. She was. 
This is the sweet munchkin last week. She's pretty cute if you ask us. She's pretty cute if you ask anyone. She's right around 9 lbs and doing well.

I think she missed me holding her during sunday school today. And I concur. Everyone thinks that little munchkin is cute as a button. I love her.
I still can't believe how TINY she was and it's just a miracle she didn't need the NICU. What an amazing blessing. And she's only 8 lbs. now! It's the total opposite end of the spectrum from my huge baby who was born 9 lbs.! Sheesh. She is darling- I love seeing her sitting up in the bumbo-type seat. My baby can't do it yet.
So sweet! I'm glad to see pictures of her at last! She is an adorable girl, and that picture of her with Marcus just melts me.
I can't wait to see BOTH your babies this week!! That last picture of her is stinkin' cute. What a little dolly with those big blue eyes!!! Hooray!
Wow, I can't believe how little she was. How early was she? I'm glad she is fine and growing. She's a cutie.
Can I tell you that I'm a little relieved that she's still that small? Because I bought her newborn onesies three months ago and haven't gotten around to getting it in the mail. It's going tomorrow, though, along with a couple of books I think you'll like a lot.

AL! I'm so glad to finally see a post about your new little one. I kept checking your blog since we have such a hard time connecting on the phone and am happy to see that all is well. Wow, I can't believe how little and long she is. And who would've thought that your little boy would look so BIG? :) Hope to talk to you soon. Congratulations!
